Cross-platform is not always the answer, but it usually is. Our rule of thumb for choosing Flutter over native development.

Clients often ask whether they need separate iOS and Android teams. For most business apps the answer is no, and Flutter is the reason.

When Flutter wins

Marketplace apps, booking apps, customer portals and internal tools share the same logic on both platforms. One codebase halves the cost of every future feature.

When we still go native

Apps that lean heavily on platform-specific hardware, AR or very custom animations may justify native code. We are honest about it during discovery.

The result

Sefix shipped to both stores from a single Flutter codebase, with a shared Laravel API, and continues to get monthly feature releases on both platforms at once.
